What is it?

Wimba Voice Tools consists of various software that can incorporate a recorded voice or other audio related file.  This includes the use of threaded voice boards, voice-enabled email, embedded voice within course pages, integrated gradebooks, live group discussions and debates, and podcasting, which increase the interaction and student engagement level of any online course. Features include:

• Voice Podcaster: Create or upload podcasts for user subscription.
• Voice Presentation: Add web content alongside vocal messages.
• Voice Discussion Board: Post and listen to voice messages within discussion boards.
• Voice Authoring: Record and listen to voice on a web page.
• Voice E-mail: Send and listen to voice through email messages.
• Integrated Gradebook: Automatically update CMS gradebooks with voice board assessments.

Educators and students use this in the online classroom environment.

How can I use it?

Available to use in Blackboard in the Communication section.
