Several departments at WilmU manage academic, corporate and nonprofit partnerships. Now there’s a central location that oversees alliances by tracking those partnerships, housing relevant data, providing support and coordinating existing outreach efforts
and potential new partnerships.
The Wilmington University Partnership Center
(UPC) offers a campus-wide, consolidated approach to building, sustaining and enhancing all external partnerships. UPC members meet regularly with representatives from departments such as Recruiting, Work Integrated Learning, Career Services, External Affairs and leaders from all seven colleges.
“We work in collaboration with our partners to support existing relationships and identify new opportunities for growth,” says UPC Senior Director DR. STEFANIE WHITBY, who works alongside UPC Coordinator ANN WILLIAMS. Leading the team is Dr. Eileen Donnelly, WilmU’s vice president of enrollment management.
Students benefit as well. The UPC is dedicated to increasing WilmU’s group of partners who could offer relevant co-ops and internships. It also identifies qualified adjunct faculty from partner organizations.
“This is a great opportunity for all of us at Wilmington University,” says Whitby. “We can work collaboratively to further strengthen our existing relationships while leveraging the University as a valuable resource for any organization.” WU
