Purpose

The Pre-RN Option is intended for second level associate degree nursing students to begin earning credits toward Wilmington University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program while completing their Associate Degree in Nursing. The course of study is initially denoted as a RN to BSN major, so students may benefit from financial aid.

The Pre-RN option includes specific upper division courses and HLT electives that include high profile contemporary topics. Students will enjoy the benefits of socialization and mentoring opportunities while taking courses with RN to BSN students.

To begin the Pre-RN course of study, apply to the RN to BSN program and enter PENDING in place of RN license number.
