Artificial Intelligence Certificate

Program Purpose

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the fastest-growing areas of computer science and emphasizes the development of the next generation of intelligent software solutions.  This six-course (18 credit) certificate prepares students with skills needed to build predictive models for AI.

Program of Study

The Artificial Intelligence Certificate consists of eighteen (18) undergraduate credits. Interested students must consult with an academic advisor and/or program chair to plan the appropriate course sequencing and selection. Courses may be completed within a baccalaureate program at Wilmington University.

CSC 414 Ethics for Computer Science

CSC 419 Python for Data Science

CSC 430 Machine Learning Principles

CSC 440 Deep Learning & Neural Networks

CSC 455 Large Language Model for Practical Application

Note: Students are held to all prerequisite requirements. Some students may require more than six courses to complete this certificate.

Choose one of the following two courses:

CSC 450 Natural Language Processing

OR

CSC 470 Computer Vision and Image Analysis
