Wilmington University’s BSN to DNP FNP option enables bachelor’s-prepared nurses to become doctorally prepared family nurse practitioners through a seamless educational track. Candidates must meet admissions requirements for both WilmU’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate program and Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree program.

Earn the Highest Clinically Focused Doctoral Degree in Nursing

Upon completion of the program, graduates will possess forward-thinking clinical and systems leadership skills to promote the application of evidence-based practice to address the nation’s increasingly complex health care needs. In addition, graduates will be eligible for the Family Nurse Practitioner national certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).

This affordable BSN to DNP Nurse Practitioner option combines rigorous academics with the flexibility working RN-BSNs need. The 75-credit program can be completed over 3 1/2 years.
