National Library Week 2023
Celebrate National Library Week with the WilmU Library
The theme for National Library Week 2023 is "There's More to the Story," illustrating the fact that in addition to books, libraries offer so much more. We’d like to take this opportunity to share all the different ways we support students by telling our story. View our story below!
We want to hear your story!
We invite you to share how the Library has contributed to your success at WilmU. The Library is creating a video that shares the stories of our students. If you are interested in participating in our upcoming library video, share your story here: https://wilmu.libwizard.com/f/YourStory
Five (5) students will be randomly selected to receive a $10 Visa gift card as a thank you for participating.
Join us as we celebrate National Library Week. We look forward to hearing your story!
Videos will be accepted until 11:59 pm on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
Only current Wilmington University students are eligible to participate. Limit one (1) submission per person.

Stories from the Library Staff
"My favorite thing about being a librarian is working with students. I love empowering them to find quality information and to gain confidence as information users and creators." - Lynda Gillow, Librarian
"I love working in the library because I get to make an impact every day. Whether that's assisting students with a paper or preparing books and laptops for loan, I know that I'm helping and that's so rewarding!" - Kailah Neal, Library Technician
"I am inspired to work in the library every day because I enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals through information and media literacy (IML). The only limitation is a lack of imagination so DREAM BIG!" - Tracy Miles, Library Assistant
