In February, the Wilmington University Cheerleading team successfully defended its Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA) College Open Small Coed National Championship, making it 10 titles since 2012. The Wildcats won eight consecutive Open Small Coed (formerly Division II Small Coed) titles from 2012 to 2019 and have now won back-to-back titles.
