2021 Recognition: Presentation at the Kaltura Academic Media and Pedagogy Webinar SeriesOrganization: Kaltura Recognition details: WilmU's Online Learning and Multimedia departments were invited by Kaltura to provide a presentation titled Engaging Online Learners with Interactive Video and Simulation. This presentation showcased ways to incorporate video into online courses that enhance engagement and instructor presence. Examples shown in this session included interactive videos and simulations made across a variety of subject areas.

2021 Recognition: Wilmington University was Invited to Participate in OCLC’s Express Digital Delivery ProgramOrganization that granted the recognition: OCLC Recognition details: Wilmington University's Library has been invited to participate in OCLC’s Express Digital Delivery Program, which is scheduled to begin in February 2021. In recognition of consistently delivering articles and other digital resources within 18 hours or less through OCLC’s WorldShare ILL network, Wilmington University Library was selected to join an elite group of libraries from around the world in a new network of the top 10% of all OCLC Libraries. The library’s resource sharing staff have demonstrated exceptional speed and reliability in support of WilmU students and libraries internationally. |

2018 ITC Awards for Excellence in eLearningOrganization that granted the award: Instructional Technology Council Award details: WilmU's Center for Teaching Excellence and Educational Technology Departments won a 2018 Award for Outstanding Support for Faculty or Students for the Pathways to Instructional Excellence program. This is award is granted to institutions of higher education that built an organizational unit that has a solid reputation for outstanding support and service for their faculty or students. The unit’s efforts have been proven to be replicable and innovative, since it serves as an open-source professional development curriculum with on-demand videos. |

This award recognizes those who have adopted flexible, distance and online delivery, including using mobile technologies, to positively impact the educational experience. UPCEA's Faculty and Staff Development Award was received for WilmU's Hybrid and Online Training (HOT) Program, a 3 three week online course that certifies WilmU faculty to teach online and hybrid courses. |
