COVID-19 Emergency Grading Accommodation
Summer 2020 Block I, and Modular I and II, Fusion I courses only
Dear Wilmington University Students,
The COVID-19 pandemic is still concerning for all of us, and we understand the pressures you may be facing during this time. For that reason, we are pleased to announce that Emergency Grading Accommodations will be offered to students for Summer I grades, which includes Summer Block I, Modular I and II, and Fusion I.
This temporary accommodation allows for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students (face-to-face and online) to choose Credit Awarded (CA)/No Credit Awarded (CN) grading for the Summer I, 2020 courses listed above. This will enable you to complete courses successfully without fear of negatively impacting your grade point averages (GPAs).
For specific details, considerations, and instructions, please see Emergency Grading Accommodations on the University Web Site.
You may request this accommodation via an electronic form available starting June 29 in myWilmU. The deadline for your response is July 16.
Before you choose the Emergency Grade Accommodations, please consider the following information carefully:
- Your decision to utilize this option is final and cannot be reversed.
- Before choosing this option, carefully consider consulting your program chair (or designee) regarding any unforeseen consequences. We want to ensure that this accommodation will not impact your graduation requirements or those for graduate programs.
- Third-party reimbursement students should consult with their third-party providers in advance to determine if there are any financial responsibilities when utilizing this option.
Your academic success is of paramount importance, and Wilmington University is here to support you. We hope the Emergency Grading Accommodation will be helpful during this unparalleled time.
