Wilmington University is Now a Mask-Optional Environment
Published: March 2, 2022
Delaware Gov. John Carney has signed an order terminating the COVID-19 State of Emergency, as well as the mask requirement in most state facilities and public and private K-12 schools. The CDC also lists new guidelines suggesting that given declining COVID-19 rates, most Americans can stop wearing masks.
For these reasons, Wilmington University has transitioned to a mask-optional environment. While masks are not required, continuing to wear one is a personal decision. We respect anyone who makes that choice while on our campuses.
We will continue to monitor state and national data and may change these processes as new information surfaces.
