Biography

Dr. Blume began her career at Wilmington University in 1998. She is currently serving as Chair for the Business Management Undergraduate Program and is an Associate Professor for the College of Business. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and her research interests include emotional labor, promotion of employees’ health from an emotional perspective, human resource management, organizational behavior, and leadership.

Dr. Blume has served in several positions at the University in the areas of Human Resources, Financial Affairs, Enrollment Management, and Academic Affairs. Dr. Blume is the Past President of the American Council on Education’s Delaware Women’s Network and a current member of their Executive Committee. Before coming to Wilmington University, Dr. Blume was employed as a Human Resource Generalist, a Library Clerk, a Recruiter, and an Administrative Assistant in the original Twin Towers of New York City.
