Biography

Angela “Angie” Steele-Tilton is the Chair of the RN to BSN program at Wilmington University. Prior to her role as the Chair, she was an adjunct faculty member for the College of Health Professions teaching Community and Global Health. She received her Diploma in Nursing from Chester County Hospital, her BSN and MSN in Nursing Education from Wilmington University. Her nursing career began at John’s Hopkins Hospital working in the bone marrow transplant department. Later moving to Delaware and working for Christiana Care Health System in Oncology Research and becoming a Nationally Certified Oncology Nurse.


After years of service and dedication to patients and families, she followed her passion for teaching, leading to her current position as Chair. Angela is the current Treasurer of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, Omicron Gama Chapter and is an avid promoter of community service, volunteering at the local food bank and community outreach services and currently is a member of the Human Trafficking Medical Committee for the state of Delaware.
