Biography

Dr. Muldrow earned a B.S. in Biology from St. Francis University and was then awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate STEM Fellowship to attend the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he earned an M.S. in Biology.

Dr. Muldrow’s Master’s thesis involved a study on tropical forest restoration in the Florida Keys. Dr. Muldrow then pursued a career with the Federal Government at the National Science Foundation, serving in several positions including analyst for almost five years.  Dr. Muldrow then went on to earn a PhD in Environmental Science & Public Policy from George Mason University, studying shifting baselines in coral reef conservation. 

Today, he serves as Director of Natural Sciences at Wilmington University after successfully launching Environmental Science and Biology programs as Chair.  Dr. Muldrow currently serves as associate director of NASA Delaware Space Grant, and also released a best-selling audible audiobook on synthetic biology (https://www.amazon.com/Synthetic-Biology-Lifes-Extraordinary-Worlds/dp/B0B99NGFCR ).
