Instructions for Submitting the Practicum and Student Teaching Application
Follow the steps below to complete and submit your application for Practicum and Student Teaching placements for the upcoming term via TaskStream. Please also see Fieldwork Placements and Requirements for detailed information.
- Log into your TaskStream account and enter your DRF program (BS K-6 is listed here as an example)
- In your DRF program, the left hand side will have expandable requirements within various courses. At the top will list the Application for Practicum and Student Teaching.
- Click on the clinical course you are applying to access, and review the directions listed. Download the file attachment labeled Clinical Compliance Manual to review required documents.
- If you are applying for Practicum I OR Student Teaching, we must have clinical documents on file. At the very top of the page you will see an Add Icon with 7 options. In order to attach your clearances, click Attachments and follow the prompts on the new screen.
- When finished attaching documents, click Save and Return to return to the Application page.
- Select view form under the Evaluation Method section.
This will take you to a new page. Be sure all pop-up blockers have been disabled or paused. Complete all highlighted areas in pink. If any areas are blank, you will not be able to submit the application. If any areas do not apply to you, type in N/A as stated in the directions. - When this form is complete, click Save and Return.
- This will bring you back to the Application page. Click Submit Work, which will prompt a new window.

- Choose Keira Potter as the evaluator.
- You will receive a confirmation it went through successfully
This information applies to students who enter this degree program during the 2018-2019 Academic Year. If you entered this degree program before the Fall 2018 semester, please refer to the academic catalog for the year you began your degree program.
