About the Green and White Scholarship Ball

Green and White BallWilmington University has established an annual fundraiser to help students realize their dreams for a degree in higher education. You can help them achieve their dreams by joining us in this effort.

The Green and White Scholarship Ball is a Black Tie/Masquerade Party that will feature themed venues of food, beverages, cocktails and music in a program that will transform the University classroom building into an exciting party atmosphere that will highlight the region’s best restaurants, specialty foods, beverages and music.

All proceeds from this event are added to the scholarship fund that will be used annually to support scholarships, financial aid, and other benefits for the students of Wilmington University.

About Wilmington University

Wilmington University is committed to excellence in teaching, relevancy of the curriculum, and individual attention to students. As an institution with admissions policies that provide access for all, the University offers an opportunity for higher education to students of varying ages, interests, and aspirations.

While producing over thirty-three thousand graduates in fifty-eight programs of study ranging from associates degrees to doctoral studies at fourteen locations in Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey, Wilmington University has remained a financially tuition-driven institution. The 15,000 current students represent a varied population from our four-state region.

The University has not sought federal funds, grants or relied upon corporate support, but has helped students through internal sources. Students in need have been provided internal financial aid and other benefits such as books, tuition and fees. Today there are too many students in need to be handled in this fashion. We must turn to other sources to help these students.
