What is my Library Card Number (Username) and PIN (password)?

Students:
Your Library Card Number is your WilmU Student ID number. Example: W00123456.
Your complete Student ID number can be found by clicking on My Profile in myWilmU. Your ID number will be listed below your name on the left sidebar.
Faculty: Your Library Card Number is your WilmU Faculty ID number. Example: W00012345.
Staff: Please call the library for your login information, 1-800-451-5724.

The default PIN for everyone is set to “changeme”.
We recommend that you change your PIN to something you can easily remember.


How do I request items from other member libraries, or request an item that is checked out?

Use the Place Hold feature to request items.
You may request items from other libraries in the Delaware Library catalog by placing a hold on the item. Once the item is located, click the 'Place Hold' button on the right side of the screen. Select Wilmington University as the pickup library. For more information on placing holds click here.


How do I renew my items?

Click on My Account on the top right corner of the catalog search page. You will need your login info found above. After logging in, click on the Checkouts tab. Select the materials you would like to renew and click Renew. If you are unable to renew your materials online, please contact the Library.

All notices regarding your DLC account are delivered via email to your Wilmington University email account. This includes hold pick-up notices, materials due soon notices, and overdue notices. Note: Be sure to adjust your SPAM filter to allow all emails from Your_Delaware_Library [sirsi@DELA.sirsi.net].

NEW! Starting September 2023, items eligible for renewal will be automatically renewed. (If someone else has requested the item, or if it has been renewed the maximum number of times, it will not be renewed.) Learn more about Auto Renewal.
