5th Annual Green and White Scholarship Ball Was A Great Success!
The 5th Annual Green and White Scholarship Ball was a wonderful evening that will not soon be forgotten. The event, which was held on the October 26, included wonderful food by local restaurants, captivating music by live artists, a photo booth, and themed rooms celebrating various regional cultures and flavors. The guests of this event came dressed to impress in dashing suits and breath taking gowns; not to mentioned the beautiful masks that were hiding the eyes of some of the more daring.
The real highlight of the evening however,was the commitment to excellence in education that was reflected in the large number of people who were willing to join together for the sake of raising funds for future scholarship recipients. And while the attendees were enjoying the festivities, they were able to meet, and talk to former scholarship recipients, who shared their gratitude for the support that they have received through the efforts and generous contributions of the benefactors to the annual scholarship fund.
This evening is sure to be remembered as a wonderful time of celebration of, connection with, and commitment to the Wildcat Spirit. The smiles were plentiful, the laughter was contagious, and the fun was shared by all. This event truly epitomized the idea of a “party with a purpose”. There was a lot of good that was done this evening, and if the dance floor was any indication, people had a great time doing it.
Yes, the 5th Annual Green and White Ball has come and gone, but the effects of this great evening will continue to be realized in the achievements of the students that will be empowered by the generosity of those who gave to make this gala possible.
