Maryland Alumni Chapter to Host 2nd Annual Crab Feast

Join the Maryland Alumni Chapter for its 2nd Annual Crab Feast on the garden patio of The Wellwood, located on the banks of the picturesque North East River in Charlestown, MD.  This historic location has been visited by several politicians and business people including Grover Cleveland, Theodore Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge and Franklin Roosevelt.  Former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Joseph Canon commented on the Wellwood’s property, saying, “… this is a restful spot on the river, far from the crowd.”

The evening’s meal will be served on the beautiful garden patio, where guests will be able to eat and unwind as they enjoy the cool river breeze.  Guests will be able to enjoy a delicious menu of Maryland Crab soup, steamed crab, steamed shrimp, fried chicken, corn on the cob, potato salad and coleslaw.  Cookies and brownies will also be included to help finish of the meal with a little something sweet. Included in the price will also be a two-hour beverage service with selected wines, beers, tea, and soft drinks.

This is certainly going to be a wonderful evening of food, conversation, and relaxation.  Seating is very limited, so please be sure to register early by clicking HERE.

The cost: $40 per person (adults only)
