Wilmington University Will Hold International Fashion Show

The Multicultural Club at Wilmington University in partnership with Student Life will be holding an International Fashion Show on Friday, May 14 at 12:00 p.m. in the Doberstein Admissions Center Auditorium. This free event will feature a delicious array of food from around the world, a fashion show exhibiting traditional clothes, and an international dance.

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with such a terrific club on campus,” said LeAnne Barnhart, Student Life Associate. “It is important to foster and enrich Wilmington University Students' awareness of diverse cultures.”

“The event is designed to raise awareness of the international cultures and traditions that Wilmington University students have brought with them from around the world,” said Angelina Burns, International Student Contact. “Our international family has grown from 34 to 45 different countries in the past 2 years and has a lot to share with the rest of the community. During the International Fashion show, each and every one of the participants will have an opportunity to sign our International Guest Book that will be proudly displayed on the New Castle Campus.”

Additionally, guests will have a chance to meet international students, faculty, and staff in a relaxed atmosphere and make new friends. Delicious food from Europe, Asia, South and North America, Africa and the Middle East will be available while guests watch a colorful International Fashion Show from around the world.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend this fun and informative event.
