Biography

Tasha D. Jackson is an assistant professor and academic chair of the Applied Technology and Information systems management programs at Wilmington University. Joining the university’s College of Technology in 2012, Tasha brings experience in Information technology systems, service and financial industries utilizing technology solutions to enhance operations in multinational settings.

 Ms. Jackson holds both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Information Systems. She has a strong working knowledge and demonstrated experience in technical problem-solving, business and database solutions, business requirements, process analyses, data analytics, and enterprise design thinking. She has vast experience in course development, management, and curriculum instruction in Information technology strategy.

Tasha is a former member of the Digigirlz planning team partnership with Microsoft and the Delaware Department of Technology Information (DTI), a member of the Association for Computer Machinery (ACM), CompTIA Association of information technology professionals, a member of the Delaware chapter of the American Council on Education (ACE/DAWN) women’s network and an Ambassador of the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT).
