Simple Syllabus

Beginning in Fall 2025, a new process will be in place for managing course syllabi through Simple Syllabus. Simple Syllabus is a centralized, template-driven platform that enables instructors to quickly personalize and publish directly in Canvas. Simple Syllabus is more efficient, where instructors no longer save and upload a personalized Syllabus file to Canvas. Each course includes a syllabus template that outlines the core content. Instructors are required to update this syllabus each block or semester to personalize their syllabus.

These updates can be made directly through Simple Syllabus via Canvas to ensure compliance with the University's Course Readiness requirements.
