Biography

Dr. Natalie Hart is Assistant Professor and Psychiatric Mental Health Program Coordinator within the College of Health Professions. She is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who has taught Therapeutic Modalities and Psychiatric Conditions, Psychiatric Mental Health Management of Serious Conditions in Vulnerable Populations courses. Dr. Hart is passionate about expanding the PMHNP workforce through promoting student persistence, success, and lifelong learning, specifically within advanced practice psychiatric mental health nursing programs.

Dr. Hart's current research interests include telepsychiatry effectiveness, public mental health education, behavioral health nursing faculty practice, resilience, student leadership development, service learning, and healthy adolescent relationships. Her provider services include psychotherapy, mental health primary care, individual, group, and family therapy, mental health prescribing, medication management, psychoeducation, mental health consultations, and initial psychiatric evaluations/mental health diagnostics.
