Biography
Kathryn Leach, MSN, CRNP-PC, is the Assistant Chair of the RN to BSN program. Katie teaches a variety of courses in the undergraduate program and oversees the Accelerated BSN to MSN program. She completed her Associates and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Nursing at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. Katie received her Master of Science in Nursing at The Catholic University of America. She is currently working to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Wilmington University.
In addition to her role at Wilmington University, Katie is pediatric nurse practitioner in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Compass Care program where she specializes in care coordination for children with complex medical needs in the inpatient setting. She has over 15 years of pediatric nursing experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Katie’s research interests include children with medical complexity, care coordination, and telehealth.
