Biography

After obtaining her BSN from East Carolina University, Lori earned her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Wilmington University and is board certified through ANCC. She received her DNP from Widener University. Her capstone project implemented additional nutrition education for nurse practitioners in order to improve provider confidence and better patient outcomes.

In addition to her role as Chair of the NP programs and Assistant Professor, Lori currently practices Obesity Medicine. She is passionate about mission work and serves in the Dominican Republic and Kenya, providing medical care for the underserved with the Foundation for Peace.
