Next Steps for Admission

Monitor Your Email and Admissions Portal

Check your personal email and admissions portal regularly for updates, requests for additional documents (supplemental items) and your official admissions decision.

Submit Official Transcripts

Make sure to request and send official transcripts from any previous colleges or universities you've attended.

Apply for Financial Aid

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) to explore your eligibility for grants, loans and other funding opportunities. You can also explore WilmU scholarships.

Take a Placement Assessment (if required)

If applicable to your program, you may be asked to complete a placement assessment. Information will be provided in your admissions portal.

Review Your Transfer Credit Evaluation

Once your transcripts have been reviewed, check your email for your official Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE).

Connect With Your WilmU Representative

Undergraduate Students: Using the Bookings link found in your email, schedule a meeting with your Enrollment Counselor to explore Degree Works, discuss your first courses, review your transfer credits if applicable and register for classes.

Graduate and Doctoral Students: Look for an email with next steps for additional admissions requirements and check your admissions portal for any supplemental items.
